Blue (Dress) Monday 1 25 10: Mikie Hara

Does the young lady above (and below) look familiar?



Well, perhaps a few prominent features of her's are familiar to you, if only you could put your finger on them..



..and were you to take that phrase literally, she might slap you into next Blue Monday..



Her name is Mikie Hara, and she's a wildly popular model and actress in her native Japan who's starred in one of the many adaptations of Cutie Honey.



If you haven't caught on yet, the above and below photos in the series might tip you off to where you've seen (parts of) her before..



I'd been looking to update the frankufotos Lingerie blog banner we'd had for a few years,



and, despite looking at several extremely nice photos from various lingerie brands, something about Ms. Mikie Hara and the bra she was wearing in this photo set struck me as perfect - thus the new banner that appeared a little over a week ago.



While on Blue Monday, usually the featured lingerie is blue ( have I mentioned how much my girlfriend loves blue lingerie?), I think we can count her dress for the purposes of this post - and that white lace bra certainly counts as lingerie. (ps- if you recognize the manufacturer, I wouldn't mind finding this particular bra and panties set for her white or blue..)

Happy 25th Birthday To Me!

So, with all the fancy lingerie pictures I have stored on the frankufotos Lingerie hard drive, why would I pick one of the young lady above? Not that she isn't quite appealing, just not as well-known or exotic as some of the more famous models we normally feature. Like I've said in a fufL post before, there are a few things that do remind me of my girlfriend.

One would be the shape and color of her eyes, especially. Another is her underwear. Now, if my girlfriend and I share any hobby or fetish, it's one for lingerie and underwear. We've both helped each other build pretty nice collections, and many a day when whatever outerwear she's wearing comes undone, I'm quite liable to find a satin or lace bra and panties set underneath matching her red top and grey skirt, maybe black silk or especially something in her favorite - blue or blue flowers-on-white (see how those Blue Monday posts started, now? I'm no fool; I go with her, don't I?)

As I've mentioned before, simple white cotton panties can be quite striking, too. And it does break up not the sameness of fancier lingerie, but it adds a variety. Not to mention, it's a whole lot less expensive, and something more likely to succumb to another of our fetishes - being slowly ripped from her curves in shreds. And I'm more likely to have plain cotton briefs removed in a similar fashion than, say, black silk boxers she got me for our first anniversary.



I'm guessing, but I doubt if your girl drops trou or skirt (or lets you do the honors) and you find a similar pair of cotton panties whether from Vicky's, Jockey For Her, Marks & Spencer or Hanes Her Way, you're not going to tell her you'd rather go for a hamburger right about then.


I'll leave it up to you how I'll be celebrating today, but as long as it's with her, trust me, it'll be even more fun than you're thinking..

She's apparently ready to go back to class, right down to her basics. And, who says you can't exploit the school-girl stereotype and still have a bit of a public service theme in reminding folks it's that time of year to watch for school children? Especially if they're about 25 and dressed like her?

Lingerie Blogger In Draft

Blogger In Draft has a new feature to let you post a draft at a later date. Since I'll be away from the computer for a few days, let's see if the Beta works. If it does, Saturday around 9am ET (U.S.) you should see a golden post of the lovely Adriana Lima. If not, well, you'll see it sometime next week the old-fashioned way. With the good old sweat of manual labor as I post it the usual way. Hey! Manually was good enough for our grandfathers on the net - and they liked it that way!

And yes, I know who the above actress is (hint: one movie out now; BIG movie out soon), but since I don't know if that was a scene that was supposed to go that way or a happy accident, I'll not mention her name here. Not that I haven't given you a BIG enough hint, or that you've never seen her in her lingerie before, though..
