Collien Ferandes is a German TV presenter and actress who was also voted The Sexiest Woman in the World by readers of German FHM. While not bad credentials, they're not the reason for this post.



The post would be because of how she looks in that black bra and boy shorts panties set.



And why Saturday Night Lingerie? True, Ms. Fernandes would most likely be wearing a little black dress or some other outfit over it while out clubbing, but if you were to undress her, mentally or otherwise, not to far a stretch to imagine you might find her wearing that or similar lingerie beneath.

The interestingly-shaped Ms. Maria has become a popular model on-line and off in a couple commercials, music videos and TV guest shots. You could conclude that's because of certain ..obvious assets, but if they, um, that were the only reason, more than a few Internet models who show a lot more would be as well-known, and they're not. As she told Playboy,

'MY BEST FEATURE: I'd like to say my face, but the girls get a lot of compliments.'

Note, that told, not showed - she said No to that idea.

I'm starting to regret my course of studies didn't include Film. Then again, who needs special effects to (politely) undress a woman with their eyes? I do it all the time with my girlfriend, and she's given me no objections. Then again, I've never turned a fire hose on her, either..

Womens' Lingerie: Marketed for Men or Women?

Almost the chicken-or-the-egg question to some, from what I've read of on-line discussions. Maybe even a question worthy of Ms. Treacle or Ms. Slip, but I'll ask it because A) I get to answer it. It's clearly both, but it has to satisfy both or it's an Epic Fail. Ever see the scene near the beginning of the movie Working Girl where Melanie Griffith's character is given some lingerie by her boyfriend, who insists on her modeling it for him? She is clearly not enamored of this lingerie, and obviously feels cheapened by the whole incident. The boyfriend is oblivious. But, if it's something you both like and enjoy (however briefly), it's done it's job, hasn't it? First accepting the premise that it's quality lingerie, successful marketing should make the women feel great about being in the lingerie, and being seen it in, if she so chooses. It should also get the proper response when a guy sees the woman in it. If it's, 'she's beautiful/hott/sexy, etc' and that's what she wanted, great. If it's 'wow, what a **** [insert word you wouldn't want used to describe you here], she's my toy!', not so much. But please feel free to discuss in the Comments below.
