Taylor Swift, 20, signed a deal to create her very own signature scent with Elizabeth Arden, the company behind the fragrances of Britney Spears, Mariah Carey, Elizabeth Taylor, and Usher.

"I have always loved how fragrance can shape a memory the way certain scents remind you of events and people that are imprinted in your thoughts," Swift said in a statment.
In the past Swift has had more of a DIY approach in creating a personal scent. "I've been having fun experimenting with combining some of my favorite scents," she said.

Thanks to her new deal, she'll get a hands-on experience working with the professionals. "I'm really excited about working with Elizabeth Arden to develop my own unique fragrance," Swift said.
Fans will have to wait to sample her scent, though. The fragrance won't hit shelves until fall of 2011.
