La Perla Shows Off AW2011/2012 Collection at Volvo Fashion Week

La Perla shows off its AW 2011/2012 collection at Volvo Fashion Week. Obviously inspired by 20s glamor the collection features fringe details, layers, chiffon, and lace. A lot of black and golden yellow colors, but blue, purple, and emerald green are present too. Animal print is seen in couple of dresses but the rest of the spotlight is taken by lace panels, mesh and constructive designs.

Olivia Munn Tells Wonder Woman To Suck It

Well, that's *almost* the name of Olivia Munn's brand new book, out today. Officially, it's Suck it, Wonder Woman! The Misadventures of a Hollywood Geek. As Geeky as Ms. Munn can be in the above bra, panties, garter belt and stockings from La Perla and The Lake and Stars, as she wears in the June 2010 FHM UK Magazine.



You may have noticed that someone at frankufotos Lingerie is a fan of Ms. Munn's - and not just when she's down to her underwear (though, that brings no complaints). If you haven't seen her on G4's Attack of the Show with partner-in-crime Kevin Pereira, The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, maybe you've seen her Iron Man 2 or Date Night, in a million magazines - including her own(!) If not, come on, people! She's trying to build a career, here!



Did we mention you should buy this book? OK, just checking..



You may ask (please do) why the Wonder Woman costume? We may answer:

Or, maybe she has a much better explanation in the book. So that's a great reason to buy a copy. Or two. Or a third: To get to hang out with her. I'm pretty sure she would even sign it for you.

If you think I'm obsessed, I'll have you know my girlfriend thinks Olivia's hilarious and sweet as well, and not just because they both like pie (who doesn't like pie??) and lingerie (who doesn't like lingerie??) She also wishes she had the guts to come up with some of Olivia's punchlines of AOTS. Buy a book, laugh along with Geek Girl Lit.

Rebecca Romijn Joins The Ranks of VSMs; A La Perla Reprise

Congratulations are in order for Rebecca Romijn and her husband Jerry O'Connell who became proud parents of twins Dolly Rebecca Rose and Charlie Tamara Tulip December 28th. True, we're a little late to getting around to the salutations, but we'd been meaning to use these photos from a fantastic photo shoot Ms. Romijn did for La Perla a few years back for an even longer time.








Stop and think about the career she's had. I recall her as one of the first lingerie models I saw in a Victoria's Secret catalog I'd 'borrowed' as a kid having his first stirrings of interest in seeing ladies in (and out of) lace, she was featured in several Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issues, she hosted House of Style on MTV, was quite the memorable guest onLate Night with Conan O'Brien where she was a great sport as Conan would almost hulk-out in lust over her (until her first marriage to John Stamos, and Conan got married as well and started to behave himself.. not as manically funny, but her appearances with him still held their charm), she was also on Just Shoot Me, Mystique in X-Men and it's sequels (blue body paint and pasties, anyone?), and most recently she had fun playing a transsexual(!) in Ugly Betty. Not that I saw much of that performance, but she often seemed like she was one good button pop away from showing off some lingerie, there, too. Because she's become a VSM, have we seen the end of her?
