fufL Sunday Extra(s): Glasses, Miranda's Knickers, and Yours

In case it escaped your reading (it pays to know where you've left your glasses) Miranda Kerr has mentioned to the popular Press she's most comfortable when she's 'just in knickers'. Well, of course, you say. What she means is, around the house. With her husband and new baby. And when, you know, company drops by and she answers the door that way.

One thing I never did in college was deliver pizza, but I'd really like that gig in Ms. Kerr's neighborhood about now..



My girlfriend says even she'd deliver pizzas to see that..

Secondly, there's an old saying, 'Boys don't make passes at girls who wear glasses'.

These boys are idiots.



Being I wear contacts most of the time myself, I understand some peoples' skepticism over the fashion sense of glasses. It's taken awhile, but I think I've finally convinced my girlfriend she looks quite hot when she's wearing her glasses. With lingerie or anything else. Michelle Trachtenberg In March Maxim

You many know her as Georgina Sparks on Gossip Girl. Or you may remember her as Buffy's little sister Dawn Summers on Buffy The Vampire Slayer. Through if you do, you probably wouldn't remember Michelle Trachtenberg as you see her in the March 2011 issue of Maxim. (of course, if you're about the same age as Ms. Trachtenberg, maybe you wanted to remember Dawn this way..)



Ms. Trachtenberg's also in the movie Take Me Home Tonight with Topher Grace and Anna Faris, opening March 4th in the U.S.

'It’s exciting. I know that everyone at my high school who used to torture me and bully me is going to get a copy of it, so I am thrilled. That is going to be really exciting ..I was rather flat-chested in high school, so I was picked on all the time. I think I have made up for it. Maybe a bit late, but they’re here now.'

Irina Shayk - Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Cover Girl 2011

Talk about your Top Ten. Last night on The Late Show with David Letterman, ten of the lovely ladies in this year's Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition took part in Dave's Top Ten List. Hilarious? Um, not so much, but that's not always the point. I think it's just kind of cool to see these models in a different light (my girlfriend adds, 'and dressed'). I'll settle for 'on network TV with a speaking part, no matter how silly'.



The above is an abridged version; to see all ten ladies and Irina Shayk's reaction when she found out she was on this year's cover, check The Late Show website. She'll also be a guest on tonight's Late Show. My reaction? I'm genuinely happy for her and all of the models for the .. exposure, if you will, but call me when SI decides to do a Lingerie Edition. I haven't yet seen the Swimsuit issue, but I doubt many of the I'm sure great photos will match the simple beauty of Ms. Shayk displaying the above bra and panties from Intimissimi Though, if it got her and the other models a great beach vacation? Gravy for them.
