Handmade But Hardly Hopeless Lingerie
Hopeless Handmade Lingerie seems anything but hopeless. They have two collections (so far); the bright and more playful Posie Pepper and the sleeker, vintage Noir The Jewel Thief. Either could steal a heart.
Hopeless is designed, made and marketed by a 26 year old Australian entrepreneur Gabrielle Adamidis. (Great; I'm not quite 25, I've got a blog. She already has an entire lingerie empire-in-the-making). Above, the black Dahlia Bra, Alice panties (or knickers - the Brits and Australians get to have an extra fun descriptor, notice) and Lily Garter Belt with stockings. Below, the also-inspired by Alice in Wonderland Pansy knickers with a pink ruffle.
They also sell through Etsy.com, and even though each piece is custom handmade, they say allow only 4 to 5 weeks. I know of a few 'majors' they can take that much time for mass-produced lingerie and other items, so not bad at all.
And, although I've done posts before alluding to the fetish my girlfriend and I enjoy of ripping each others' underwear to shreds, this is not the kind you treat as such, and just not for reasons of price, but for reasons of artistry.
